Do You Need Someone's Permission Or Validation For Your Mental Health?
U.S. Sergeant General Dr. Murthy has one for you.

Do you need a prescription for baths?
Do you need someone’s permission to give yourself a break?
Do you need someone to put a warning label on your smartphone, like there’s one on cigarette packets?
Dr. Vivek Murthy has one for you. But more on that in a moment.
This should ring alarm bells though! The fact that people have been firstly, brain-washed, followed by being socially conditioned to accept all levels of crazy is astonishing to me.
My First Prescription To YOU
Several years ago, when I held my first in-person public speaking workshop, one of the first things I told the participants was to get off all commercial toothpaste and switch to one without both fluoride and sodium lauryl sulfate.
A few years after that, I told my client Rachel exactly the same thing. Switch to a toothpaste with natural ingredients. Sodium lauryl sulfate is a chemical that produces lather - it makes you think something is being cleaned better by the function of lathering. It’s NOT. It’s a lab ingredient created to do some shitty things.
Fluoride is a known NEUROTOXIN. No matter what your dentist tells you, that horrible thing shouldn’t be in your water or in your toothpaste. It calcifies your pineal gland. Your pineal gland is the seat of intuition in your body. Adding fluoride to water and toothpaste is a propaganda by some elite guy who doesn’t care if you dumbed down or died. Fluoride makes you dumb right down.
If you don’t spend time (off social media and other distractions) to get to know yourself, you’ll end up absorbing everyone else’s random and conflicting ideas about you. Knowing who you are on a very deep and intimate level is the best way to protect yourself from internalizing disempowering from others.
People are like sheep, out of touch with themselves, their ability to reason and question. So they don’t know better and they can’t do better. It’s a sad state.
I suggest you give going fluoride-free a try to see for yourself. Don’t expect magic to happen overnight. It will grant you the ability to think for yourself and discern. You can watch this video to open your mind and eyes. Meditation helped me learn about myself more than any school education ever did. Meditation also helped me get good at public speaking.
“Fluoride in water lowers your IQ and affects the thyroid,” says Dr Berg at 1 minute 28 seconds mark.
Having a Smartphone Became the Norm
This entire month I’m talking about the ill-effects of constant access to technology that is addictive in nature. This addictive and powerful technology was released into the market without any warning of its harm. And people started using it. It was the norm.
It became normal to have an email account, a Facebook account, an Instagram, You-Tube or a TikTok account, a Twitter (X) account. How many social media accounts can one person manage without losing their mind? If you have an answer to that, please share it in the comments. Go on. Make someone’s day.
What came with this norm was truck load of other ‘norms’. Connecting with strangers across the globe became the norm. Using smartphones out loud in public is practiced in Hong Kong, as if it’s normal. People in Japan don’t do that, by the way. I don’t know what’s the norm around smartphone usage in your country. Please share in the comments.
At work, instead of talking to each other, all the teachers are on their phone at lunch. People park their phones next to their plates when they’re dining out. Parents and helpers let the children have their phones on commutes in order to give themselves moments of peace and quiet.

How much norming up should one person do? You lose creative brain cells when you try to fit in. Exhibit A is writing this newsletter. I tried fitting in to the girls’ circle here in Hong Kong. I tried carrying branded handbags, wearing diamonds and talking in English even though all of those other girls understood Sindhi (my mother tongue). I still never felt like I belonged. In fact, I never felt more alone in my life.
After becoming a rebel, I no longer think too much about what others think of me, as it it none of my business.
Pay Heed to Dr. Murthy’s Words..
American Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy is advocating for warning labels on social media platforms due to concerns about their impact on adolescents’ mental health. Dr. Murthy’s push for these warning labels comes amid ongoing debates about the impact of social media on youth in the United States.
I think this applies to every country where children have access to smartphones that shape the way they see the world. The evidence of widespread harm to adolescents is now strong.
If you, your child(ren) or your teenagers display addictive tendencies toward smartphones, then you may take note of what Dr. Murthy has to say.
But don’t forget to use your own observation, analysis, and will power. You can read the comments under the post that I’ve shared above. Whenever the government interferes, it has an ulterior motive. Or at least that’s what the people believe after all that we’ve seen happen during the pandemic. Most governments are interested in themselves. Not your or my wellbeing.
It’s time to take matters into your own hands. Take a break for at least two weeks from your smartphone. Put it away in a safe. Lock it up. Put the keys where you’re least likely to find them. Then you may have a bath in peace. :) You’re welcome!
You see, the arrival of the smartphone wasn’t the only thing that caused an alarming rise in youth mental health crisis. The foundation for it and normalizing the most insane of things were being laid down bit by bit. The contraceptive pill, women’s freedom to work, families moving to urban areas, family units getting smaller and smaller, less communities, more loneliness, and then comes the advent of this dangerous piece of technology.
Do what’s in your power, because you are data to those who can manipulate you!
