Ladies and gentlemen! My teal dress idea is about to become a reality! 😍😍 I can’t wait to go finish the rest of it, and wear it to school!
I spent the entire Saturday afternoon on the living room floor staring 🤔 at the large rectangular piece of the synthetic satin-look teal material I picked up from Sham Shui Po over two years ago!
✂️ Cutting the material is the hardest part. I messed up bias cut before and I wanted to make sure I got it right this time! HINT: I did!! 😜 Stitching it up and putting it together is a piece of cake! It’s a one step-at-a-time thing. 😊
When I’m playing around with something new, I don’t know exactly how my dress or dreamcatcher or bread will come out. It’s all an experiment. So I take it one step at a time.

You know what I woke up to on Saturday? I caught a bug! 🙄 Thanks, rainy weather! 🙄. I had ginger spice chai to cure myself, and I told myself I’m going to do nothing but play! I know, I know I had given up caffeine. What I wanted from giving it up was for me to choose when I want to have it, not drinking chai out of compulsion like an addict! 😜
That’s exactly what I did. You know what else I tried my hand at? Sourdough spelt pita bread with pesto and cheese filling! They were incredible! Take a peek! Have a bite! 😋 Careful they’re still hot!
It’s Tuesday. It’s pouring outside right now. It’s also the fastest I’ve ever healed from a budding cold, you know? Play is so important for the mind and soul. Remember I was talking about “life feeling too serious” in my last post? Here it is in case you wanna read it. I can’t get over this Maltese!!!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 I wanna kidnap all the cute Yorkies and Maltese, bring them home, lie down on the floor, and have then yip and jump all over me! I need love! Unconditional, pure, love! ❤️
It’s also I’ve ever healed from a budding cold, you know? Play is so important for the mind, body and soul.
So yeah. Life had started to feel a bit too serious. I had to shake myself out of it. And that green dress idea came to my rescue! 😊
