The Truth is Not in Fashion
It's neither hot nor cool.. It never will be. How to navigate social media that is suppressing truth or being selective about what they want us to know? If you're new to Substack, welcome.
This is why I’m here, folks. When will social environment that is currently playing havoc on mental health begin to show changes?
I’m here to do my part, because not doing that will feel absolutely wrong. There’s enough things that are going wrong in our world. It’s thrown psychological safety out of the window. Folks in the back, quite please, I’m talking. Thanks!
“No one wants to hear the truth” said one commenter on my last article on Medium about my being shadow banned. And she didn’t answer my follow up question to her. Don’t hate her. She’s really nice. But!! Like what does that comment even mean?! Just because no one wants the truth, does that mean I should stop sharing it?
Meaning I should NOT care? That would mean I should become someone I’m SO not! I don’t know, you tell me how you’d feel being inauthentic to yourself. I can’t. I simply can’t!
I’m sorry, but I’m really not. I’m going to be the unapologetic voice of truth. And whoever think that is important can join me in this safe space that I’ll create and hold for you. I have faith in myself and in you, my reader.
If you’re a nurturer, creative, wholistic healer, yogi or yogini, introvert, HSP, spiritual, someone healing from narcissistic abuse, neurodivergent, feeling lost, looking for solutions to chronic pain, looking to leave abusive relationships of all kinds and start build a beautiful one with yourself, you’re in the right place.
If you’re a creator of three dimensional art, highly sensitive, a seeker, a geek, a frustrated yet solution-oriented person in a big bad crazy world, you’re in the right place.
If you think way ahead of your time and are crazy enough to think that you can change the world, you are in the right place. Welcome. Have a seat. Tell me who you are. What does the outside world look like from your window?
A bit more about me and where I’m at in life
Slowing Down
Slowing down the pace of my life has increasingly helped me get in touch with the wisdom deep within my physiology. Slowing down the breath through meditation really helped me slow down my thoughts, slow enough to catch myself forming a BS belief 😱 about myself that wasn’t going to serve me (or you). So I scrap that thought… IMMEDIATELY.
Meet My Introvert 👉🏻 😊
The introvert in me (also called Neha) loves my company, and I love hers. We go back and forth and brainstorm ideas at random hours of the day or night.
Introvert: Oh.. shit! I got gold for you! Let’s talk NOW!
Me: I’m all ears! Let’s go bitch!
Introvert: <presents draft idea and waits for a nanosecond>
Me: Damn! You are a genius. I love you. Mwah, mwah!!!
Me: <builds on introverts idea>
Introvert: Shit! This is magical stuff, bitch! Let’s get this out there.
Things get very exciting. It’s like cooking up a storm in the kitchen while happy dancing! You should come! All of this happens in a millisecond.
I did some housecleaning today 🧹
I was checking how engaged my subscribers are. This morning I went ahead and deleted the ones who never read my post. I’m a firm believer in clearing space. We’re SO attached to hoarding, stuff that is collecting mental dust (cough, cough). So while I’m day two of my magical monthly cycle shedding eggs that never be (and the introvert is inhaling a bag of chips), I decided to sit in my jammies, have a sip of chai, open my subscribers page and bury the dead readers. 🚩R.I.P🚩.
I’m creating space, y’all. I’m holding that space for that ones who truly belong. So if you belong here, say “I” in the comments. KIDDING, but not really. Talk to me. I sent my introvert out to run a couple errands. 🛒😅. No one’s home!
Okay. Honestly? Things get pretty lonely. It’s cold out here! I’m this crazy, brilliant-ideas kind of person looking to brighten up the world with you. Come, let’s shine in our brilliance a little brighter.
Some folks who are lighting up my Substack world
If you’re new (or newish) to Substack, (have felt rejected by humanity..) 🤗 I know how you feel. I’ve been reading some people regularly here and they talk like real humans. (Not your cold-ass robotic AI coughed up phlegm! Shit! I had to look up the spelling. Ding dong. Oh, that must the introvert. Hang on. Let me go open the door. Like who decided it was okay to put a l-e-g between ph and m and dare to pronounce it ‘flem’? WTH! Exactly! You understand me! Thank you for participating in my rant. End of rant.) What was I saying. So, yeah. They make me feel normal, you know! It’s really warm and cozy! Come in, sit down. I’ll put the kettle on. Sip, sip!
These folks threw out the social media’s “latest fashion” rule book for writers, because they’ve embraced their style - aka their writing voice. In no particular order, I present you… drumroll please 🥁🥁

If you are learning the ropes on Substack, I highly recommend subscribing to her. He emails are loaded. I especially love her Friday Emails that religiously arrive my inbox at 10 am local time! I’m also drawn to her work because I’m slowing my life waayyy down. Finding her here is a blessing I had to share! If you want to die laughing if not have stage III laughter, I highly recommend
’s Both Are True. Warning: BAT-shit crazy stuff happens in there. Don’t tell me I didn’t tell you! Last week I spilled chai all over my laptop, all thanks to Alex getting his head stuck in a balcony! But sometimes, while he’s being funny, he’s also calling out on AI BS. I think that combination is deadly!Post covid-recovery brought a wave of change in my diet. Yes, health is a value I share with Michael. Thanks to author
, I’m cooking overnight oats - breakfast superfood. 2% with Michael is jam packed with solid health and fitness advice from books he’s read (so that we don’t have to!)I first came across
on Medium before finding more of her work on Spirit Seeds right here. If you’re into tarot cards, fine-tuning your intuition and sharing your spiritual gifts as an awakened woman, I invite you to walk through the picturesque landscapes of Kelley’s magical and mystical imagination.
As I read more eye-opening, mind-blowing and laughter-inducing stuff in Substack town, I’ll be sure to recommend more writers in this space from time to time. I’m all about learning to love myself just little more, so that I can pour into you, my reader. I ask that you be patient with my introvert as her processing takes longer.
What’s New: Conscious Coupling with Tantra
I’ve started a bimonthly newsletter wherein I share my journey of and insight through practicing tantra which is the art of sacred sex. Everybody has sex. So what? Well, problems in relationships arise when issues are swept under the rug. Wait, Neha. Isn’t tantra supposed to be about sex? It is, but it doesn’t just revolve around sex. It’s takes your relationship to this whole other level of awareness, and from there, ANYTHING can happen! If that goes well with your cup of coffee, consider subscribing here:
